The DanFuss Show: Notes and links.
Topics discussed:
- Dan’s experience at Graham’s gaming party in southern Osaka.
- We both enjoyed Games Japan Festa.
- Alex sang the praises of Boot Camp.
- Yakuza 3’s is being released in super-crowded March 2010 and the UK trailer is unforgivably bland.
- We both look forward to 3D Dot Game Heroes in May (even though we could buy it right now in Japanese).
- Modern Warfare 2’s “No Russian” became “Kill Russians” in Japanese (but you can’t kill anybody).

Meh, close enough Japan, close enough.
- Paris courts rule the R4 is legal rule the R4 is legal. Meanwhile, R4 vending machines in Japan will be banned.
- Sales talk: PSPGo is a dud, Mario and the Wii are back on top.
- The Final Fantasy XIII juggernaut is looming over Japan! Yet some are distracted by its less-than-perfect 39/40 score from Famitsu.
- Kotaku’s “celebrity column” by a porn star draws criticism from Leigh Alexander. And us, I guess.
- EA announces Dead Space 2, speculates on how to fix Mirror’s Edge.

Pixeljunk Shooter
- Dan loves PixelJunk Shooter and most certainly does not love Uncharted 2. Alex loves PJ Shooter too, but he’s also been playing Modern Warfare 2, Halo: ODST and Assassin’s Creed 2. Can’t say that he loves them though.
- Game of the Year 2009: Things get complicated when we remember The Path was released this year.
- Darren’s Dan’s Old Games: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, prompted by a community activity on Bitmob.

Retro games bought to you by Dan.
Thanks for those Dan, enjoy the show everyone.
