If you’ve been reading this site carefully you may have noticed all the articles and reviews are a hundred and fifty words. Having only started posting recently the aim was to keep most posts current. This post however is to be a little different and look back on my last three years or so of gaming with fifteen ten word reviews.
Animal Crossing WW (DS) – Why was paying off a loan and shopping so addictive?
Bioshock (PC, 360 and soon PS3) – Shoot bees at people in an incredibly realiSed art-deco dystopia.
Dead Rising (360) – You kill thousands of zombies. That’s it. You want more?
Loco Roco (PSP) – A simple game that makes you smile like an idiot.
Mario Kart (Wii)- Good news! They put all the good stuff on DS.
Mass Effect (PC, 360) – Even the aliens speaking with American accents didn’t spoil it.
Metroid Prime 3 (Wii) – The original GC Prime is better and cheaper. Start there.
New Super Mario Bros. (DS) – Akin to finding your favorite teddy bear when moving house.
Ninja Gaiden – Dragon Sword (DS) – Innovation! Novel controls and a Gaiden that isn’t balls-hard.
Oblivion (PC, 360, PS3) – Become obsessed with pointless quests rather than saving the world.
Orange Box (PC, 360, PS3) – While good, Half Life’s praise is exaggerated. Portal’s is not.
Space Invaders Extreme (DS, PSP) – Repetitious addiction but with enough twists to stay constantly fresh.
Super Paper Mario (Wii) – Laugh out loud funny on occasion but constantly overly verbose.
Wii Fit (Wii) – How to get even the most cynical girlfriend to play.
Zelda and the Phantom Hour Glass (DS) – Nintendo has packed double the monotony into half a game.
