The DoFuss Show – We Don’t Care About Your Left 4 Dead Stories!

May 16th, 2009 Posted by Alex Beech

There is a blight, that dogs both I and Darren. We can take it no longer, this offence to auditory senses. But what is this festering pox covered beast which haunts our iPhones? Left 4 Dead stories. Yes, this show we talk about gaming podcasts. What we like, what we don’t like and why we are happy to pander to your every desire to keep you listening to us.

Talking of keeping people listening this week also sees the announcement of the Street Fighter art book winner, as well as the usual news, game discussion and music. Comments, reviews and good vibes welcome at the usual places.

How about doing the next podcast through the medium of interpretive dance?

    FUCKING TURRICAN, BITCHES! YES!

    On another note:

    1. Alex – stop talking sexy. I was on the bus listening to this and almost missed my stop due to “something coming up”. :D

    2. So I was playing L4D the other night….

    3. I bought both SFII and SFII Turbo on the Wii Store. Good times.

    4. Matthew deserved that win. I freaking LOL’d.

    5. Weekly competitions for signed photos goddammit. I wants me a wall of Dofuss!

    6. As confirmed via PM on UUDD, importing/exporting something worth more than £38 results in customs fees. Remember the figure for £30 in Yen, and never exceed it. Not £31, that’s too much. Not £29, that’s not enough…. XD

    7. Happy birthday us! Woot!

    Another spanking show. Loved it.

I know what you mean about the Xbox sticks not lining up. The system came with a Katamari game and I find the control scheme awkward for just that reason.

I fully support the plan for an archive of the musical portions of the show. This week’s rap ode to Garnett Lee was delightful.

Regarding the podcast complaints in the Bitmob podcast, I think they largely don’t apply to you because (A) you are fans of games rather than insiders & they clearly think more fans should be making their voices heard and (B) you only have two guys rather than four. You’re totally in the clear!

Oh, and the same day you posted this, ListenUp posted a two and a half-hour show that opened with lots of sniping. Seems they take one step forward, one step back…

    David Ellis.

Was he one of the Sensible Soccer players? :D

    Still ROFLing at that interview.
