As I said before this is a game intended for those familiar with Street Fighter 2. The single player is a merciless reminder of this fact.
I am not bad at Street Fighter. I hold my own in the arcade and online, but the single player is a rude awakening for me. Playing on normal is tough. It is harder than I remember most settings on the SNES iterations of the game, and significantly harder than the arcade SF4.
Look on it as training for the harder online games your going to face.
On a separate note, I downloaded this for 360, but if you want the game, and have a choice, I would recommend going with the PS3 version. The 360 D-pad is ill designed to start with but for a fighter like this which emphasis precision and timing it’s atrocious. I’m just glad I have an arcade stick.
