Tokyo Game Show – The End

October 18th, 2008 Posted by Alex Beech

And so Dofusses TGS coverage comes to a close and my posting schedule will return to normal. I may even get a chance to play some games in the coming weeks.

As a child I had dreamed of attending TGS. While it was a unique experience in retrospect it left me feeling under whelmed. Perhaps this is due to the climate of the industry. With Nintendo out of the show and western developers like EA feeling a little flat many areas of the floor lacked the buzz the big Japanese developers generated. Or maybe it was timing of this years show. Or that I am a jaded individual with no soul.

In truth it is probably a combination of all these. That and the two hour queues…

Anyway soon my preorders will start arriving and I have to start posting everyday again. Until then I’m off to enjoy Dead Space.
